the invites via message is spam......the only way to activate it is to ask someone (who already have it) to call u

this method of activation is open for this week starting from today.

Guys I'm thinking of buying a used Galaxy S4. Is there anything about the phone in particular I should pay attention to? And how do I tell if it's a genuine or not?

+1 beer for Stev!

Helped fixed the call dropping issue I had on my WhatsApp!

Turns out it needed to be updated and the service reactivated!

Call quality is really good as well, better than Digicel I might add!

So I changed the N4 screen today. All went well except removing the battery.. I had a little hiccup. It was glued down beyond tightly and in removing the battery I slit the plastic at the bottom a little and it.. Smells a little funny. Went ahead and changed everything and the phone boots up perfectly. Ordered a replacement battery but just wondering if it's safe to use for the time being? Replacement battery costed 10US so not bad.

ah boy. Take your time. Find a video to follow. watch it first.
watch it again.
watch it a third time.
play it while you do it.
be careful with the components. use a heat gun/hair dryer for heat if needed.
place all related screws in one place. eg. a container. Don't mix different ones.
hopefully you ordered a screen protector/tempered glass. The screens normally don't have an oleophobic coating.

Yeah expected to have a new phone in my possession then that happened. My mother threw down her Galaxy s4 and now the screen is totally blank. I was expecting a cheap glass replacement but it's totally completely blank :/

When I power it on I see the LED blinking and I feel random vibrations though.

Sony Xperia Tablet Z. Cyanogenmod 12 release for Pollux Windy.

This was one tedious and scary process of unlocking a bootloader and bricking my tablet about 6 times before getting it unlocked, rooted, kerneled and running with CM12. Now the root is gone again and I had bricked it overnight. Fastboot rescues! Finally fixed it this morning again.

SONY has some serious lock downs on their stuff! But it can be done, so don't get discouraged for those here who are going to try it.

not really though, i've had nothing but smooth sailing with my sony devices. it could be complications with the ROM that you went through
