Saw that STI a few days ago and noticed the same discrepancies, but didn't want to say anything, in case seller was a tuner.

Another thing is that 04 STI's were the Peanut-eye models, so something's really up, with that whole scenario.

lots of owners do a facelift, so not a problem....once its a GDB chassis (02-07) / correct Model yr turbo (if not upgraded) /DCCD gearbox post MY03 etc.....for all we know, the site admin made a mistake....but the price for an 02 sti @175k is up to the buyer to decide....

there was a white sti (04) with similar issues a few months ago as well....similar yellow flags...

Yeah. know a few as well. Even considered doing one on my car. But regardless if all relevant parts were properly upgraded, i'd still want all info regarding the history of the car, as it's still a conversion on an older chassis. And that Admin would have had to have made, more than one mistake, if you think about it.

Sure the seller can ask for whatever he/she likes, but considering an 02 STI goes for 95k to MAYBE 105k that's a bit excessive and almost inline with 05-06 STI
(hawkeye), price ranges. Just makes you wonder.

Bottom line i guess boy 16 cycles, is buyer beware.
