Ambrose also saying that holder should be reinstated as test captain despite what kraig brathwaite pulled off in bangladesh

Personally i think brathwaite made all the right calls in those games...someting which holder fails to do....

IPL coming up some of these fellas don't want to injure themselves and risk losing out on a high pay day at the IPL. After IPL every man come ah begging since T20 World Cup coming up in India and lots of money on the table for everyone and there is also no other T20 leagues going on concurrently with the T20 World Cup.

Some of these fellas also making themselves available for the T20 series against SL to be in the good graces of WI cricket again due to getting a wuk for the T20 World Cup. Russel the biggest culprit who always conveniently is injured whenever WI is playing a series against an international team when coincidentally another T20 league going on at the same time which he's a part of.

Brathwaite may be a good captain but we also dealing with a small sample size in 2 tests. Consider if we lost the 2nd test with him choosing to bowl himself instead of gabriel..... he would be getting cuss instead.
Remember how everyone was praising Holder after we won give 1st test in England in July.

My biggest issue with Brathwaite is his batting, he averages low 20s in the last 3 years. Can't have a captain who doesn't pull his weight.... we all know how things went with Darren Sammy. If he improves his batting and Holder doesn't improve his captaincy, then let him take over.

Pride lost like real losers against scorpions boy...
From 81 -8 pride allowed jamaica to get to 219....wdf...
Then from 106 -0 pride made roughly 180 or so all out...
What a shame....a team that has at least 4 or 5 west indian players including holder as captain....

Holder captaincy days over yes....

Like Gayle has gotten an inside scoop.
He has left the PSL and is returning home which would place him in contention for a pick for the upcoming home series

Like I said every man jack suddenly making themselves available by returning to play for WI now that the T20 world cup around the corner and lots of money to play for. Once T20 world cup done and dusted after this year you won't see any of these same guys making themselves available to play for WI again unless their T20 cricket career is over and can't get a wuk in T20 leagues around the world.

The English "The Hundred" Draft happened yesterday behind closed doors and throughout today the ECB is releasing the squad lists.

Seven overseas spots were up for bidding (excludes overseas players retained) from a pool of 252 players. So far for the WI Pollard and Pooran were bought by Welsh Fire and Manchester Originals and Dre Russ and Sunil Narine are there having been retained by Oval Invincibles and Southern Brave

England all out for 112 on this 1st day of the 3rd Test in Ahmedadbad. Its also a day/nights test and that's a good score considering England made 58 the last time they batted 1st in a day/night test.

Nothing wrong there.
NZ and England have wickets swing and seam for 5 days in a row.

India V England.

All kinds of chaos going on in that match.

England 112 and 19/3 (currently)

India 145

Prhaps India shouldn't have prepared a rank turner unless you sure your batsmen can bat spin very very well.

Joe Root with a 5 fer oui!!

^ That pitch will definitely be under review.

For those that interested, the ratings of pitches for the most recent internationals (all formats) going back to 2017 can be found here. It actually starts at the Women's World Cup matches at the BLCA from October 2017.

India need 49 to win.

The problem is not the pitch but how the teams batted.

The umpiring has been outstanding in this match!

Joe Root now has the cheapest 5fer in Test cricket for a spinner.

The way India played in their 2nd innings just now to the spinners it's almost as if they tricked England in their 1st innings by getting all out for 145 so they can lay into England sooner and win the match today.

Well somewhat new. The stands are all new as its a rebuild of the former Sardar Patel Stadium. The outfield and pitches remained but would probably have been relaid anyhows like how the QPO was for the 2007 WC.
