good showing for Da Silva...would like to see him molded as a middle order batsman.....while Pooran come in as keeper/batsman

Da Silva competition's wouldn't be Pooran. It would be Dowrich or some other Bajan.
You really feel Pooran giving up franchise cricket especially now that he is becoming one of the most sought after short form players in world cricket?

Since 2014 to Dec 2020 Pooran played 0 red ball matches in any form of the game.

However he did join the squad for the A team vs NZ A so maybe he might have a change in heart. But once again when that franchise US$ starts rolling in it may be hard to ignore.

All of them say that to avoid being viewed as selfish. You feel young Nicky P want that stress?

Windies 6 down already, with a 184 run lead. Bangladesh back in with a chance then.

2nd WI Test match in a row I missed the victory.

Went to sleep cussing when Bangladesh was about 110/4 after bowling out WI for 117 in 2nd Inns.

Just woke up to see WI won. LOL.

Agreed!

No set of bling on the field. No set of fanciest shades either from these players. Just pure cricket played as it should be.

However, Blackwood needs a serious batting attitude adjustment. Moseley may not make it at this level. Roach's time is over. Joseph is coming along as a batsman but his bowling is way off.

I am willing to give them all a chance and let the so-called "stars" fight up for whatever places remain.

  For sure.

T&T just won in the final over with 5 balls to spare.

But seriously, Pollard and Pooran need to understand the batting difference between a 50 over and a 20 over game.

For real both of them out of duck due to very poor shots. They need to take their time at the start of their innings and make 1's and 2's.

I find anyone who turned down going to Bangladesh but ended up in Abu Dhabi for the T10 league should be blacklisted.
Let those with genuine aspirations to represent WI get games. Ah mean its not as if WI perform significantly better with their #1 picks

I hope not for the test matches. Leave the majority of that test team alone.

For the T20 and 50 Over games, it is back to bling!

In better news, T&T bashed the Leeward Islands tonight.

Guyana vs TT tomorrow, both teams are already in the Semi-Finals and winning or losing this match doesn't count but this match can possibly be a final given that these are the 2 best teams in the tournament and has gone unbeaten so far.
