WI need 399 to win.

Rain is forecasted for all day tomorrow.

That leaves them possibly 1 day to survive.

From Cricinfo:

James A: "Well done Josh Da Silva. Just wish he was batting for the Windies too" -- I reckon Dowrich will be OK to bat, but expect England will give him a short-ball barrage if he does come out.

Since the first test we saw Dowrich struggling with the bat. He should have been dropped for this test

So the forcast said would be rain today... and it's actually raining. It's amazing how accurate their weather forecasts are.

If Shai Hope and John Campbell can consistently make a WI 11 then it shows how far we are from everybody else in test cricket (bar Ire, Zim and Afg).
And that's not taking into account K Braithwaithe average after 60 odd tests is just 33. The way Cozier used to speak of Braithwaithe you would swear he would have been at least a mid 40s kinna player

111/7 btw!!!

From a technical standpoint they are just not up to it. All the Bajan batsmen jump when facing the fast medium bowlers..........i just dont understand it. I've seen hope out that way in the second test that i initially thought had pitched low but had hit the top of off stump and dowrich was dismissed the same way........but then again fliyd reifer is the batting coach

Earl Best on Wired868 absolutely refuses to address Hope's utter hopelessness.
His article today speaks to only the playing of Gabriel and Fatman as selection errors.
He for some reason thinks Hope is classy and merely out of touch however an average of 25 after 34 tests shows he is an less than average batsman that had a magnum opus in Headingley as opposed to it being a beginning of a purple patch.

But WDA. I took a nap with WI about 72/4 now get up and see game done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You were right because if you back out the rain interruptions it seems like one session is all England needed.

31 overs bowled today. A typical session is 30.
I know WI and their ineptitude. This entire match their batting never looked like going more than a day and with the boost Broad and Co had 1 session seemed most optimistic outlook.

Pakistan looking very good.

Quite impressed with their batting and bowling attack. They made 326.

They had England 12/3 at one stage.

Babar looked good yesterday. Thought he might have kicked on. Nasser Hussain said yesterday if Babar wasn't Pakistani he would be considered in the same category as the Fab 4 (Smith, Kohli, Williamson and Root)
