WI went from best to worse in one decade.
That's not even consistency just plain mediocrity

Nothing new:

But for me Campbell and Blackwood are on thin ice especially Campbell .

Also Hope will fail on this tour

Them fellas talk too much, u don’t talk cricket , you play cricket

According to some, Hope is the only Hope for the batting line up

Hope and Brathwaite made some runs

Joshua DeSilva made totals of 133 N.O and 56 N.O. (average 94.5) in the 2nd practice and still was not selected as one of the 13.

He has very good experience in English conditions as well.

I expect him to make his test debut by the end of the series.

Selecting him will affect the balance of having 8 to 9 bajans on the team

Windies showing good form with the ball thus far. Eng 155-8...weather is ideal for swing bowling tbh...Anderson in his glee

WI doing good but I'll wait to see them bat one session before rejoicing. We all know the best swing bowler in the world is Anderson and Archer and Wood will be bringing the 90+MPH heat.

Anyone notice how many wrong decisions the British umpires gave AGAINST the West Indies today?

It looked like they were t'iefing for England to win.

No neutral umpires in this series due to C-19.

And given how much swing I see being conjured out of that track, looks like this match will have plenty lbw appeals. Rain also still a decisive factor in the upcoming days.

Proabaly b/c there is so much more white ball than red ball cricket I didn't realize how shiet Shai Hope is in Tests.

He averages 27 (Daren Ganga territory) as opposed to 52 in ODIs.

WI all out for 318 (a lead of 114). Something like 16 overs left today. Let's see what happens

You were so right. He did tear into them - gently.

He used the word "perception" to soften the blow somewhat.

Last day will be most interesting.

How come the tv labels Gabriel as fast-medium when he bowls 89 kph?

is this discrimination of some kind?

This is what umpires do not do any more in test matches:
