With things as disastrous as they are at this time, my additional fear is that subsequent to our earthquake a few weeks ago which would have loosened tree roots and soil adjacent to roadways in our hilly areas that landslides don't severely impact.
Really for citizens whose home are submerged and the likely hood of being able to have a good night sleep and a proper meal seems to be nowhere insight, please focus on any positives you can find and recognize the need for families to support each other.
….The most frustrating thing is seeing this calamity and feeling as if you cant do something to immediately stop the pain.

Yep dasheen,water lilly flotillas and fig tree an ting..plenty wild life will be displaced.

Place would be flooded with galap,scorpion muds, caiman and anacodas..

as bad as it is, its not that bad. waters will be receding. most people by now would be evacuated. its jsut a waiting game for water to go down, and clean up.
we have enough regiment, regional corp, cepep, equipment, to do the rescues and clean up after.

what is needed now is shelter for the night, clothes, disinfectant to wash off that flood water, bathing water, food stuff.
