Coby close down long time .
They were from Hong Kong , then USA.
Plenty problems .

Massy selling Coby 32" for $899
And JVC has a motherboard problem.
You will get a red line defect on it .

Sony and Samsung is the way to go

Made a mistake with that JVC brand from pricemart. Not ever again.
Apparently is some knock off version from Panama. Has a motherboard problem and trust me there is no where you can get it online.

Some models of the TCL TVs too. Last year there was one on special for about TT $ 800.00 and you could only find it on TCL's Latin America Website.

Those flat-screen TVs are really disposable items yes. Carried a Samsung to repair and the quote was almost as much as a new one.

Cater to replace every 3 to 5 years...if yuh lucky...:|

You all do realize that most, if not all, TVS and related electronics sold in T&T are for LATAM market. You'll never find the NA models for sale locally. That is how the manufacturers market the products, different lines for different markets but with similar features across the different markets.

Yessir, right now some Vizios and TCL have the best refresh rates for gaming.. also most reputable tvs have calibration settings to get the best pictures, use it!

Massy has no shame. Look at how old those reviews are and you will see how old the 'new' tv's are. They got stuck with lemon's and are now trying to palm them off to unsuspecting customers.

Caveat emptor.

Would not buy any tv nowadays that’s not, Sony, Samsung or LG, and yes there are models that are brought out just for a sale day that are cheap and only have basic functions.. good luck with warranty with those....

How is this shame? Ppl in the market for cheap TVs glad for so. But they should know the risks.
