If we have American Black Friday sales, we sure as hell should have Boxing Day Sale.

Detour does normally have 50% off. How come they lower it to 25% off?

Just to make it searchable lol:

Hear me out
Chelsea is a 1% daughter living in Westmoorings.
December month her friends carry her out for an adventure to unexplored lands (Mayaro). Passing through the Naparima Mayaro Road they hit a pothole, the tyre buss and they have no spare. They call roadside assistance to come help but they say that they don't come down that side (legit happened to me already). Stranded, they accept help from Prakash, a local tyre shop owner.
After fixing them up and ready to leave they realize they can't go home because rain fall and the highway flood out.
They spend the night by Prakash. Prakash and Chelsea bonded that night over a pot of cocoa tea and she learns that he can't do his yearly Christmas toy drive because business has been slow and RBL repossessed his van.
Chelsea re-evaluates her entire world and realizes life exists beyond the lighthouse. The next morning her family arrives frantically with the CoP, Stuart Young and Rohan Sinanan. They see how bad things are and work together to pave the road. Everybody buys new tyres from Prakash and he buys a new Hilux. Prakash and Chelsea drive around delivering toys then stop for doubles and share a cold solo.
The end

Did you check Xtra Foods? The branch in O’Meara always had. I am not too sure about now though, with it being the Christmas season.

Try the bechamel version
Holds up much better than the ricotta + egg

I doh want to jinx it, but it shaping up to be a merry christmas. People seeing the back of this administration and it giving them hope. Hope for themselves, hope for their children, hope for the future. For the first time in a long time, people feeling empowered about their future.

other messages:

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve so let me give a message to any of the managers and supervisors: tomorrow you must let workers go home early.

Not this recent trend of opening later and later to make the owners of capital richer. Jesus doesn't want that. Jesus came for the poor. Jesus wants workers to go home early.

And a next thing is places in the mall opening up on Boxing day for grand boxing day "sales". That is not the point of Boxing day.

I remember when I was small, getting plenty food from relatives and friends because they boxed up the christmas leftovers and send it. Boxing day is when people suppose to get food. Not about sales. Plenty people working on Boxing day on minimum wage and going home hungry. Boxing day is about feeding people and if you must open, make sure you feed people. If you staying home and have extra food, give it to somebody you know who would appreciate it. Boxing day is about food. Not sales.

Christ is the reason for the season. Santa is an anagram of satan. Don't X the Christ out of Christmas. Enjoy the holidays and keep Jesus in your mind, remember that he came for the poor, not the rich, and remember your greatest gift lies in heaven with our heavenly father. Amen

Boxing Day yes. I hardly see any open on Christmas Day except 1 or 2 drug store and bakery in St. James some years ago. And perhaps it was just half a day they open for. Even KFC who does open every other day of the year including public holidays does close Christmas Day. This is the biggest holiday of the year as it should be.
