Great work by the police!! This is the kinda police work that puts the brakes on the kinda impunity we have grown accustomed to in this dread country we love so much,people would think twice before going the distance if they know they may get caught,and this is another example of stupid wicked think skinned people sitting high and mighty making decisions on people's lives .

X-Trail seized in abduction case
...cops search Penal house

A Nissan X-Trail matching the description of the vehicle used in the abduction of hairdresser Ria Sookdeo, has been discovered in Penal.

The vehicle was parked in the open garage of a house where two people, a man and woman, live.

Police arrived at the home at around 8.30a.m. on Sunday and spent the day searching the property for possible forensic evidence.

The vehicle was towed away for forensic examination.

Three people have been detained in the case.

Sookdeo, a 34-year-old mother of two, was snatched out of her vehicle shortly after dropping her children off at school near the family home at Wellington Road, Debe last Thursday morning. Up to Sunday afternoon, she had not been found despite emotional appeals from her family and husband Mark Sookdeo.

It is a case that has baffled police investigators unable establish a clear motive.

Members of the public are being encouraged to step forward with information to help police.

How come nobody looking at the angle of revenge for the incident last week in school?

Yeah - I found it strange that police had to be called to the school because of a bullying incident involving her 5-year old son.

Some people don't realise there are different kinds of people out there ,sometimes you have to cool yourself and keep out of trouble. Can't say all the details ,but it is hardly likely she alive. Don't feel the police in the dark.

She lives about two blocks from the school, if somebody wanted to kidnap her for ransom or for human trafficking, ,it was easier to do it at her home in a dead end rd, or on the road to, or from the school .

Check out this scenario, the police know who they looking for, but rush in on him. She is left to die. So it makes more sense to sit on the info and stake out the suspect or even listen to his calls. The only time you rush in ,is if you get hints that she is dead .the DNA evidence in the vehicle could implicate him, even if it is for the kidnapping. Her hair , her tears ,anything.
