Had an accident by me recently it was a Sunday, it was a serious accident one guy end up in hospital.

Police came 3 hours after we call, Ambulance took more than 2 hours.

I am pleased with this PNM service. (Though admittedly UNC was the exact same thing) but so much for voting PNM for ah change eh?

A 26-year-old teacher was kidnapped from his Couva home yesterday.
Keston Mahabir, of Pitman Trace, McBean Village, was last seen being bundled into a car by three men.
Police were told that the kidnapping occurred around 11.50 a.m.
His family told police that he was awaiting officials from the Education Ministry to visit him at home, where he had been teaching pupils remedial work.
Instead, the three men ambushed him downstairs the house and escaped with him in the car.
A report was made to the Couva CID and officers issued an all points bulletin.

I was thinking the same thing. How much $$$ can a kidnapper hope to get from this young man's family. He was just starting off with a small school. It's not as if he owned School of Accounting or SBCS.
