The public needs to thank the PP govt for making motor sport possible.

I agree....could someone let the camera man know that the action is where the pack is....we dont need to always have view on the lead car

LoL at one time race going on and the camera crew fell asleep on a shot of the crowd for a full 20secs.

I'm grateful for the coverage nontheless. Thank you.

^Apart from the start, one would be inclined to think the supercar race consisted of one car lol

LoL exactly! I mean, how hard is it to watch some international races on TV and see how it's done. Get some ideas.

I really wanted to know what happened in that super car race , there seemed to be one fast car and driver or at least he drove much better than the rest , lapping some cars in 8 laps maybe.

The other races were more competitive somewhat , the Evo from Guyana seemed to have some issues . The megane was an also ran .

In the group 2 class it was honda power all the way .The silver autonation EG8 walked away with on race and had some difficulties that left a red EG8 driven by Mark Viera to battle with a yellow and green EK3. This race was competitive only after the silver civic broke down.

In another class an S2000 and a 2nd gen battled hard all day. There should be some good shots of this pair side by side through the DeCosta bends and Amar chicane.

The "super car" race is simply a single street car class, everyone regardless of horsepower, weight, drivetrain, aspiration etc all the cars run in the same group. This means that cars will be very unevenly matched. The idea is to encourage guys to race and eventually progress to full built race cars.

If it was a street car only event, then they could have categories and classes to allow a better match-up of the cars.

Looked like the second gen was toying the entire race until the end where he pulled away.

.

Cornfused, That information is incorrect.

Silver EG Civic is from Barbados driven by Mark Thompson. This is not an Autonation Car.

Red EG is driven by Mark Williams out of Jamaica, though he lives here so he flies our flag.

Currently Marc Gill (8) of Trinidad is leading GP 2 CMRC championship, driving an EK9 B16B civic. He is underpowered but is a very skilled driver who has been very consistent, and has competed at all of 2015 events this far.

The Old School section had a blast, despite the weather. We were happy to have been a part of this historic event.

Wallerfield is back...and we are anxious to be a part of racing there once more.

Much respect due to the Legends like The Boodrams, Amars, Selbourne Clarke and many others...also TTASA who stuck to the plan and got the days activities done, with no major accidents. It was a herculean effort for TTASA and the Racers AS WELL AS THE FANS to get this day done!

Lets all pull together to make Wallers the Caribbean Mecca for Motorsport once again!

My likkle vid....shot between bbq-ing, liming, ole talking and dodgin puddles...haha!

Robert amar franky boodram ttasa as well as many interested parties who want back a race track (wallerfield). Weeks of hard work on a daily basis by all these people to get it ready for the event yesterday. As well as a signed 2 year contract for use of wallerfield with renewal every 2 years. Somthing that no one has ever been able to get in the past as it was always empty promises .
