Look rally club(TTRC) had an event last year where high amounts of rainfall in the afternoon caused too much flood & mud. All the drivers got together and say ok its no longer safe to drive, its not worth it and all stopped and the event was ended right there.
Racing is knowing when to push and when to hold back.
