Mufti Ismail Menk
When a match goes into extra time, the real excitement begins. Not only do the players strive to score that decisive goal but even the spectators roar in excitement, cheering them on. That is a scenario we can relate to & understand. For those of us who have been blessed with an extra day of fasting, consider it a golden opportunity to be able to score the decisive goals towards the Pleasure of the Almighty in these final moments of the month!

Ramadhan Mubarak brothers.

but, when is holiday? the friday?
If not, why would you waste a public holiday by putting it on a sunday?
The makes life very difficult for those who work weekdays, and depend on saturday to get stuff done.

Have a good one folks. Quick question... as a male photographer, is it possible for me to go in the women's section to take photos of women with their babies? I did some photos of my wife last year with baby and some people want me to recreate it for them with their children..

different places might have more strict policies, but the basic would be that you get permission first from the imam to be there, and then the permission from all that are your subjects.
personally, i would refrain from going into the women's section and do the shoot in the general area. leave the women's section free for only the women. you would still need the same permissive

Muslim brahs explain this one...

I know these two muslim fellas...brothers....everyday they go to the food court to "observe" people.

I saw them some day this week and they were like OMG what you doing here?...I say I come to buy lunch duhhhh?

The look of horror on their faces was epic, I told them I stopped fasting years ago and I'm now a practicing hindu. One had a papercup which he kept spitting into. One grow long beard and had a miniature quran he was reading from.

So I asked them what they're doing here?...they said they come every lunch time to "make out" all de muslims who does play big muslim but don't fast...so I was like K.k

Now keep this mind - for the other months of the year these two guys always partying, posting pics on facebook from maracas bay with carib and sloths in hand...always drunk on de avenue every weekend...one married with chile an does be in villa every weekend...one got fired from 3 diff jobs in one year for showing up to work drunk...

Why do muslims do this? They know they do chit, but for a month want to play holier than thou and judge others?

I just checked one of their fb stats and he has something up about god is great thank you for this month etc etc.

Is this real life?

Some people are just idiotic. A true Muslim has the same behaviour throughout the year and does not wait for one month to suddenly become holy and then return to the previous behaviour afterwards. They just fooling themselves.

They going to the food court just to make themselves feel better because they know they don't normally do good, so the slightest good they they do, they want to show it off. They looking out for "big Muslim" so they can make themselves feel that they is bigger Muslim. A true Muslim does not belittle others or feel like they better than other people, so while they playing pious boys, they actually the opposite.

Fasting is for Allah alone, so a true Muslim would not go about boasting that he's fasting, since fasting is between him and his lord, not for other people.
