Question, rc veterans:

The Viefly V268 I had is now dead, thanks to a rash into a bowl of water in a sink. I was generally satisfied with it, but I want to try something else for a replacement. Same price range ($20-$30), but preferably something less military. I want something with some color, as I mostly fly it to entertain my two-year-old. Something even easier to control would be great too.

I like the Syma S107, but I'm unsure about how it compares to the V268. Anyone here with experience?

It wouldn't be tuner without the elitism. Automotive, audiovisual, now aeronautic.

Pioneer, you were telling me about the entry-level helis a time. Any experience with Symas?

They supposed to be pretty good, toymart trincity mall has the entry level to semi-pro models.

I didn't even know they have a new branch opposite SAG trading

POS branch next to courts also has em.

If you're serious about buying a $200+ copter, you'll spend $200+ on one.

I'm serious about buying a ~$30 one for the purpose I explained above. Damn serious.

The copters I see at most stores sell for ridiculous prices. I brought the VieFly down for around $200TTD, and I saw a similar model selling for around $550. So I will stick to Amazon.

I'm not sure if these vehicles are available locally. Amazon sells Tamiya vehicles at reasonable prices. If you're gonna be doing competition drifting I suggest you get a kit(No Electronics included) I believe the TT01E comes in kit form.

http://www.amazon.com/Mazda-RX7-LEDs-Kit-TT01/dp/B000LY06AY/ref=sr_1_4?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1311116234&sr=1-4

I suggest you check out the TT01E as alot of parts and hop ups are available for them online.

Also if you're going to be drifting ensure that you have a great motor & esc combo. Try not to exceed a rating of 4200kv motor as you'll be drifting. Anything excess of that will just make it harder for you.

Also invest in some aluminium hops. A kit like this would come in handy

http://www.rcmart.com/catalog/rc-tt01-yeah-racing-ttck01-coversion-tamiya-tt01e-p-28691.html

Companies like 3racing and yeah racing manufacture parts for Tamiya. You could also check ebay for these as well.

Check out the Spektrum Radio Systems. Most of them come with the RX(receiver) and TX(transmitter) so you will be safe :P

You could also checkout the Fly Sky FS-GT2

If you're a beginner and only into the Hobby then Yes. But otherwise if you intend to do upgrades and modifications I suggest you go with the TT01. The E10s are great but they aren't the strongest and should be treated with care as things break easily.

You could also take a look at these:

BMW 320si WTCC 2006 RTR: TT01ES

1/10 XB Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X RTR

Subaru Impreza WRC 2008 RTR
