^^looks like an attempt at sarcasm.

One would hope that you and many others here aren't as backward and arrogant as your online personalities would suggest

i for one am proud that we can host the summit. however i am disappointed that that is what it took for the government to make the changes and do the things they did in prepartation of the summit - such as take the homeless off the streets, put security cameras alon the hiway, clean the streets, fence beetham, refurbish the old airport. the list goes on. Not to mention Hazel actaully dressing up so she wouldn't look like a frump nex to Michelle Obamo who didn't even come! haha.

Get yourself a contract and you will look the other way.

Who cares if your children have to live a society plagued by a FAILED: health care, education, public service, crime and justice systems.

Well, who still proud?
The whole situation is now a complete waste.

The possibility that the treaty would not have gotten signed by most of the delegates has always existed (unless of course you dont follow the issues and just 'being positive')

Lots of big talk passed in this thread about the great things that the summit will eventually bring for us. Many were contingent on the signing of this document. A document that couldve been signed in any country that hosted. Its not like it was exclusive to Trinidad.

Now, its just a huge expenditure, and the meager gains that we can look forward to are not nearly enough to begin to offset the expense.
