Try:

1) camphor balls - birds can't stand the scent of it, along with black disenfectant, but i doubt you would like to smell that too!
2)Print out picture of a "bulls eye" about the size of a tennis ball and stick on the inside of the window - most birds would mistake this for the eye of a bigger predator and avoid it
3) or try a scare crow - get a small doll with big eyes and put by the window, same theory as above

a picture of an owl stuck on the window will discourage the bird
make sure the pic is one of the owl looking at the camera.......it's the eyes that birds recognise as the danger sign.
