Smart move by Russel though. Russel makes most of his money in the IPL. He knew if he played for WI he probably would have done sheit and would have looked bad in front of his IPL fans. He probably figured he would go Canada, bat against a weaker bowling attack than India and make his name there. Unfortunately that plan backfired as he got out for a duck..

This Ashes test is why I love Test cricket so much. At one point on Day 1 Australia were 122-8 and now they are on the verge of a victory with England at 133-7.
