Some guy with a white Kia optima get T-bone from a pole on the creek earlier. Looks like he misaverage where he have to switch unto the single lane and spin out.

Also fun fact, someone left a gallon of np engine oil on the lane merging unto the highway northbound from c3. It done get flattened and the contents emptied between the merging lane and left lane. Hopefully nobody looses thier life tonite

Never happen in T&T until they pass a law. I remember years ago before they passed the seat belt law, I always used to buckle up in the front seat if one was available. People real used to laugh at me. I did not care. It saved my life one night during an accident.

On the rare occasion I sit in the back seat, I am pulling that belt.

3x more likely than belted back seat passengers but what about compared to unbelted front seat passengers? the front has the most risk because u either getting the airbag exploding on your face or breaking through the windscreen and hitting the road whereas the back seat passenger hitting a relatively softer front seat. yes there would be injury but perhaps less likely to be fatal.

This accident took place on the Valencia stretch. School boy was driving like a cnut according to eye witnesses.

19 year old driver of Arima. He just lucky nobody eh dead in this incident. Dumb jackass.
Throw the book at him. Revoke the driving permit until age 25.

The insurance company will make the parents learn a hard lesson.

19 YEAR OLD OVERTAKING ANOTHER CAR, GETS INTO HEAD ON COLLISION AT VALENCIA STRETCH
Around midday on Monday 24th June vehicle… a black Toyota Voxy was proceeding east along the Eastern Main Road Valencia (Valencia Stretch) transporting 7 passengers, one of them being an 8 year old male accompanied by his mother, aged 41, when a grey subaru Impreza was observed overtaking a line of traffic proceeding west, occupying the left lane.
Driver of the Toyota Voxy attempted to pull to the extreme left onto the grass to avoid collision but his efforts proved futile and both vehicles collided causing vehicle PDR 9642 to spin out of control and Toyota Voxy to capsize several times and land on the hood. The passengers and drivers sustained injuries and both vehicles substantial damages.
The 19 year old driver of Arima was interviewed and reported that whilst overtaking a silver Almera heading west, occupying the left lane, he collided head on with the Toyota Voxy causing his vehicle to spin out of control.

Motorist dies in crash on way to drug store

A San Fernando man died after he lost control of his car and smashed into five other vehicles on Saturday afternoon.

Police believe Gerard Dumas, 67, of Hillview Gardens, Green Acres, died while heading to a drug store to get medication.

Eyewitness Marvin Waldrop said Dumas, also known as Jimmy, was driving along Sutton Street when the accident occurred.

“I was coming down the hill from Charlie’s Pudding and then I saw a vehicle speeding from Irving Park. I jumped out of the way, and then he hit Raj’s car with an impact. His car then spun in the air and landed on the hood on the opposite side of the road,” he said.

Waldrop said bystanders rushed to assist Dumas and hurriedly pulled him out of the car but he was already dead.

His relatives arrived at the scene but declined to comment.

An autopsy is expected to be done on the body on Monday. San Fernando Police are continuing investigations.
