One reason why it have so much accidents and why it will continue to have is because of these tyres people bringing. I trying to get some tyres yesterday and mileage mack closed half day. You would be amazed at what is being sold like hot bread and people buying.

Why is it that government have to keep intervening and outlawing what's not fit for usage? Are we big people or little children. You'd think with the age of technology and internet access we would use it as a tool to seperate sense from nonsense.

Unfortunately people will always gravitate to the perceived “best deal” it’s just the economics of trying to stretch your dollar the furthest it can go. The general public ain’t experts in everything and will go with the basic assumption that once it new it should work good

Maybe 10 years ago I got a good deal on 4 brand new used triangle tires from a guy who didnt like them. I took them going against my better judgment was desperate at the time. They Drove very good to my surprise until rainy season. Those tires would not grip the road slightest rain will have Me sliding at stop lights and around corners. That was Last time I Chinese cheapos went back to my Canadian used tires

Cheapest tire would by is nankang(for the run around car) ... Other than that maxxis or toyos for rest of vehicles

Why cheap out on Chinese dump tires for the only ting that in contact between your vehicle and road?

I had the same experience, you hit the brakes and the vehicle keeps going.

Maxxis, Kumho or Toyo for me yes. Once I ask for that and you don't have it, later. I used Dunlop for years also on an average grocery getter sedan without issues.

Can have a tow truck bring it back, but usually you'll have to check licensing in Tobago for an approval letter.

plus tickets for tow truck and driver.

Can tow truck just drop of the wreck and another pick it up in POS or might have to hire a Hiab truck if they don’t want the drama

yeah, a lot of people have done that for non running cars in Tobago to be sent to Trinidad. Many times the person will have the car dropped off and they have their company pick it up.

Slow ferry pretty much if I remember correctly. Once all the necessary paperwork done, the tow can have it dropped in an area that wouldn't be a hindrance. Usually the tow from Trinidad would be there already waiting.

Don't think it's changed in recent times.
