Once again I say Anyone holding a Heavy T and operates a Truck daily should be given mandatory Mental Evaluations and drug testing on a regular basis.

I'm So positive that the driver was going slowly and proceeding with due care,,,, theres no way he could have thrown this over on the side by speeding! and driving like the usual jacka55 truck driver.

A 68 year old woman from Chaguanas is now dead following an early morning accident.

Una Belgrave of St. Thomas Village was a passenger in a white Ford Lazer along with three other occupants.

Around 2:30, the car was heading north towards Chaguanas when, in the vicinity of the Calvary Deliverance Temple, a black Mercedes Benz overtook on the shoulder.

Both cars collided – the Benz overturned on the highway while the Lazer ran off the road trapping the occupants inside.

The driver of the Benz, a 28 year old St. Augustine businessman, reportedly fled the scene.

The elderly woman died while the other three persons were rushed for treatment.

During the chaos, a third vehicle, a white Toyota Fielder driven by PC Mayers was also struck – Mayers and his girlfriend also had to seek medical attention.

Several hours later, the driver of the Benz arrived at the Chaguanas Police Station accompanied by his lawyer.

He was administered a breathalyzer test which he initially failed.

While awaiting the second test he reportedly complained of feeling unwell and was rushed to the Chaguanas Health Facility.

The deceased woman is said to be the aunt of an ASP attached to the police’s Public Relations Unit.

Corporal Martin is continuing investigations.

I think the accident with the Sookdeo fella was the worse I heard in a very long time.

Guy crashed into median,managed to come out the window where a truck hit him into the road which resulted in several other vehicles hitting him...

Coming from Chaguanas about an hour ago, saw a white pickup, unknown make/model as it was badly damaged (TCZ something) lying on its side on the south bound lane somewhere between Munroe rd and Caroni flyover. Police and fire on the scene.

I did my part to keep traffic moving by not maccoing more.
