Live bait we usually use...mostly fish ballyhoo for kingfish tournament since dey went back to removing the use of live bait...

Well after not surf fishing for nearly a year, I go to mayaro for a day and this is what I catch. Not good news for the east coast reefs. This is one species the spearos need to help cull. If they're this far down for tobago, then north coast has problems too. Young snappers/ groupers and other reef fish seeing some pressure here.

Yeah, jigging with a 00 drone spoon tipped with sardine on a dropper loop lol. Apparently other folks have been seeing them in the surf there as I spoke with a couple guys who seine the area.

I would not like to be stuck by one of these bastards. It's only a matter of time before some novice who doesn't know what it is handles one incorrectly.

Been fishing the tarpon alot recently with the tournament coming up...but still got in some kingfish fishing and a 37lb cavali...

^ That thing probably pulled like a truck lol. Went in the gulf today with all that mud and freshwater, catfish abound but still managed some nice reds and cro cro, and a GIGANTIC remora , might've been a trash record lol.

There is a market but we are strictly catch and release on the tarpon...we fish them for sport...

The tarpon bite has been insane.... went 2 for 8 on a spoon and ole rapala with in 3 hours.

I'll post the more interesting video as i went strike after strike, back to back with 2 - 3 fish while trying to paddle away from the pier.

Boca was choppy on wed with lots of wind...yesterday wasnt as bad but still a little choppy...got some more pling, 2 kingfish and some other fish yesterday...

Anyone know if the ancho still biting on the north? Heard bout 10 miles or so out that they were.....
