Totally misleading statement !! The Chinese have done more for TT than any other CARICOM neighbour . I will put it very simple. Do you see any Chinese vagrants ? Where do the Chinese restaurants get their vegetables ? From the local farmers, local economy. What strain on health care system ? Chinese go to private doctors. Trini putting strain on the health care system. They go in and do not leave like it is the Hyatt.
Casino are for people with money. Like the millionaire ( Yes Mr Trump ) who go to the Bahamas and set up million $$$ investments like hotel etc.

You seem to forget, or perhaps do not know, that the The Chinese Association of Trinidad and Tobago "supports" a lot of those Chinese immigrants who come here. Nothing in life is for free.
Most of these chinese immgrants are virtual slaves. They have to work to pay off there debt in getting here.

Casino workers are paid very well. The Chinese workers are paid a handsome fee in the casinos since they attract other Chinese who are gambling fanatics.

Listen immgrant you know jack chit.
This is how is goes . Chinese workers take loans to come here from other Chinese big wigs . Once they get here they have to work to pay back their debt . Once paid back they don't stay here , they move to the US illegally. They take out another loan to get shipped to the US, and the cycle starts over again.
It's a vast network of human trafficking and Trini is just a stepping stone.
They also post their passports back to China to have another relative use it for other countries with vias in it.
The local chinese associations are not affiliated with these new immigrant associations. These local chinese associations is considered not "chinese enough " and watered down.
These immigrant chinese associations are a disguise for the chinese underworld and that's part reason why they don't associate with the local chinese.

Lol. The above is total nonsense. Chinese migrate not only to Trinidad but all over the World. They set up a business , work hard long hours and become successful. They are very family oriented and due to restrictions w.r.t. number of children, they leave China. It is a migration process.

The international chinese associations is under the triads, a chinese underworld that deals in organised crime.
The local chinese associations have nothing in connections to the triads.
Local chinese are considered not "chinese enough " and cannot be trusted.
Trini chinese associations are over 200 years old.

Chinese do not deal with outsiders. There dont trust non chinese and you have to be a member of the association. It's a secret world bro. It just like how the Syrians operate.

You are compiling pure nonsense .
The businesses are owned by families, young entrepreneurs and not associations. It a migration process,
combined with solid work ethics, and sheer determination to succeed, that I believe have you in
a fluffy state of mind. It is a successful formula.

You know very little and showing much ignorance.
The businesses only front the family names. They are owned are funded by the associations. You expect a family to arrive here overnight and by next month they have all the money to put up a building to run and stock a grocery store.
Where do you think they got the money, from ? From their families of farmers back in china?
It's the same as a local rum shops.
Some ppl can't get a licence to run a bar, but they put up others to get the license and pay a fee/rent for the license .
