You guys know when you get off the highway by maritime and you're approaching the main road by morvant junction there? There are three lanes right, and a filter lane for people that wanna head west on the eastern main road. Right, so I in the left lane heading my way to turn left to get on the eastern main road. This ...... WOMAN. In a b14 was in the right lane to head up lady young road. The stupid woman see the lights change to red on her, so she decide she don't wanna wait. So sue pull FROM THE RIGHT LANE, straight onto my FILTER LANE TO HEAD TO THE EASTERN MAIN FKIN ROAD!!!!! I had to slam on my brakes. (I will admit that I was driving a little fast) ABS kicked in and all. Then she gonna wanna look at me and smile as if she all innocent! I just looked on in shock.

Proceeded to cut me off, flip me the bird and then pull alongside making threats. No seat belt on him or his guntress, driving like a ***** and had about 4 kids in the backseat then talking about how I "playing wid he chirren" life :/. Notified the police, hope they catch up with him :|

PB* 320, white BMW e46 320. Swerved off his lane and into mine on Rivulet Road and totalled my driver's side mirror. He didn't even stop. I pulled over, then turned around and tried to look for him. Not in sight, what an a$$hole.

It was either PBM or PBN 320, and it hit my project car, not the B15, so pressure.

white PBH B14 last night around 11pm by Dinsley lights...driver slowed, put on his right indicator and pulled towards the centre line, as he/she should...seemingly to turn right, onto the street next to the Quik Shoppe

I was about two lengths behind in the convoy, we're all doing abt 30kmh while he's coming to a complete stop, I slowed to maybe 15. I popped the horn just to inform him that the rest of traffic is passing on the left while he's already at a complete stop, over the centre line, supposedly to turn right.
THEN THE FACKING IDIOT flicks his indicator left and immediately pulls in front of me to turn onto Disnley Main Rd.

I wanted to hit him, seriously. But HE wouldn't pay for it, I would. Good thing I slowed because I had less than a length to stop and any faster would've surely hit him.

This idiot coming down the UBH just now. Spot him in my rear view from Just after Chaguanas Flyover weaving in & out the traffic in an unsafe way, he not turning the steering, is more like he tugging at it. I myself moving through the traffic along with a few others. He finally reach up to me by Ato Stadium on the highway but stick up on my bumper closer than stickers. He can't pass on the left & I not moving to the left because there was no space. Usually when I see men driving faster than me (regardless of my pace or lane) I pull into the next lane that would make their drive easier. I got chance to let him pass then he hit me a middle finger & a few cuss words as he pass. Then the lane clear behind him so I went back into the right lane to pass the truck next to him in the pic, bastard slow down to match speed with the truck so mess me up. The guy behind me skate & all. I let him go today & I continue how I was normally driving.

Yesterday, TAY 4040 white B1600. Jackass apparently never learned to color in the lines.
Switched lane on Cross interchange as if to head to the San Fernando Bypass.
Apparently it was an attempt to overtake the car in front of him heading to Cross crossing.
That car had time merge with traffic from Halliburton ramp, then he in forcing his way back in almost sideswiped a Tuscon heading from Halliburton to Golconda.

Why they insist on switching lanes there, I'll never comprehend.

Yesterday I was in the left lane on Maraval Rd headed south at the traffic lights by Tragarete Rd.

As I crossing the junction with the light on green a POLICE WRECKER flies across across the junction from the right lane with a car hooked up and tries to cut in front of me when he should turn right.

I block he mc. It was either he hit me, hit the traffic light or slow his arse down.

When he pulls in behind he he start to blow horn out of spite, even though there was traffic and I could not move. Couldn't identify the plate cause he ride my bumper. Should have given em the finger, but I was in a good mood.

I know he and the jackass police who let him pull that idiot drive go be marking my car to wreck from now on, but that's OK: I am not an avenue person.

I happened to pass there this morning facing west, and.................. seems ganesh and a few others didn't notice the road markings.

^^^Hmmm good point....and memory. Kinda hard to follow though due to the line of cars almost constantly parked on the left there. But judgement will always be based on what exists at the time.

PAX 1062 white 626
Chaguanas flyover, this man decide that the left lane to rough for him so he pull into the right lane, without indication, while I was switching lanes behind, about to overtake him. When I pull left to avoid a collision, he get vex, pull off with a speed & run me straight up to the next car on the left lane. I eh study that too much but when the right lane traffic pass that car & no one was going back left, I did & he move across to block me. Eventually by Seereeeram, I got in front because his jacka$$ness almost make him run into a yaris on the left. He pass on the shoulder while I moving back into the left lane (because I done overtake & I honestly didn't realise he went on the shoulder & if I did I would have run him into grass). He was driving faster than I planned to drive so I let him go then he decide he want to make me run into him. I just leave him in front but stayed close, Freeport flyover he slow down to see if was me behind. Then preysal, I just test him with my indicator to turn off (don't worry no cars were behind me at that point) I see him pulling off. He did come off the couva exit though (I refer to both ramps differently to differentiate where the car heading)

I was honestly driving slow behind him in hopes of meeting a HP & getting them to follow me or something & see how the man drive.

Probably because it pisses us off more than it does other people since we actually take pride in how we drive & conduct on the roadways.

Or is that just me?

You'll probably find the same people in the bad parking thread also.

Postby Hook » July 11th, 2012, 1:57 am

This isn't specific to any particular driver, but I see it way too often and I'm certain some of us are guilty.

Most mornings, I'm heading east on the EMR, there's traffic heading west; standstill traffic.
Suddenly, a pedestrian or vehicle will stick out in front of me from in between the westbound traffic, either to cross, or turn eastbound.

Mind you, the person sticking out can't see me coming, but the person who's letting them pass, can. Yet, no lights flashing, no hand gestures to signal me, nothing. I'm mindful of this, and as such, I drive slowly in situations like that, lest I get into a twist. But logic dictates, that IF I do, it sends the vehicle/person u let pass straight into your vehicle and makes a bad traffic situation much worse.

How about we just avoid all that and signal to oncoming traffic that you're letting someone pass? Okay?

It's a tough one.

signal how? the A/C on and the glass up.
If they put on the right turn indicator, you'll bear with them?
Because once you their brake light is on, your supposed to only pass when safe to do so. And you'd need to be at almost a stop to determine that in those cases.

I think I understand what Hook saying. If I'm in standstill traffic & I'm allowing a vehicle out a side street to turn the opposite way, or a person to cross the street, I put on my bright lights at oncoming traffic (if any). It may be difficult for drivers to see the traffic coming & of I see oncoming not stopping, I give a hand gesture to the one coming out to wait.

 ogoarrr...u could make it seem hopeless eh? But I guess, that's the reality of it, even if it's just five seconds less a/c to avoid hours of traffic, a trip to the police station and repair/blood clean-up

in that situation, I usually either wind down the glass and try to signal oncoming traffic to stop for them to pass, OR, motion for them to stop and look out for them , then motion them to continue when it's safe...takes only a few seconds in most instances

I've seen an accident similar to the above situation, right in front of my vehicle, I stopped at TSTT on the EMR in Laventille heading west in standstill traffic one time for a car to come out, there was traffic heading in my direction and the eastbound lane was virtually empty. Now of course those Morvant taxi drivers always in a rush, he was overtaking the long line of traffic, I saw the whole thing that was about to play out, I started to blow my horn so the TSTT guy would stop driving out of the compound, but it didn't work, the morvant taxi driver and the TSTT vehicle collided, inches from my vehicle.

Of course, the morvant driver had to make it obvious that he is from Laventille when he got out of his vehicle and start to talk about how he go beat up the next driver moda so an so and how he shoulda see he comin  wrong and strong

@ Hook, I usually take a wide turn, i.e. drive almost straight to the light and then turn, in cases like that  unfortunately, more often than not, the folks right behind me seldom follow suit, and the line breaker just ends up only slightly delayed :x
