Not sure if this is the thread for it but........
Just yesterday I've recently come across a weird thing my s4 does. If I'm watching a vid on the youtube app and pause it to do something else it will normally go to sleep. It's when i wake it from sleep and unpause the video that the screen blacks out frequently with lines across it, sound is normal. When I close the app then resume after awhile everything is normal. Is my s4 failing or?

yeh i figure wifi on has something to do with it also because while on data i had no drain before a reboot.

speed,
you use instagram also? see if the photos coming out with artifacts in it.. coworker of mine had this issue on her s4... she carried it back to bmobile and "got" another s4.

yeh :( now the drain on wifi and 3g unmonitored (meaning without having to reboot or kill play services) is similar.. Back to 3-4hrs SOT

Unfortunately, I don't use instagram. What do you mean by artifacts though?

I am having trouble with logging in to the play music store, when I use my gmail account it is carrying me to another screen that is asking me "add music"...I can't get to the actual music store, has anyone else experienced this or have any suggestions.

I use Doubletwist
It works with Airplay also and you can airsync your music from your itunes playlist. I tried it with wmp and it... as expected... failed. Haven't tried it with itunes. Airplay works great though and it has radio streams eg. what tunein does and podcasts support built in.

Any views yet on the HTC 1 m8 sense 6.0 update and also what you all think about the extreme power save mode?

Music store is unavailable in Trinidad unless you use a VPN. All you can do is upload and playback your own music.

The m8 has that feature? Thought it was just the s5. None the less the m8 scratches easily and is slippery in the hand due to being mostly aluminum. Other than that that's the only flaws on the phone. Greatest device on the market

Agreed. Only for my preference, wish it had a removable back cover for battery swapping.

The HTCs not bad... the M7 is a brilliant phone other than the stupid purple camera issue and the fact that you cnanot easily open the phone.

Spoke to HTC directly and it's still under warranty for free repair but makes no sense to pay a bunch of money to send it USA then to spend more to bring it back down through customs etc. (spoke to ezone and they said you still have to pay import duties etc).
