PLEASE BE ADVISED : Tropical storm Philippe has changed direction - MAYBE T&T to get a taste - pull up a caribbean ir satellite map and keep monitoring it's movements - LOOKING LIKE RAINY WEATHER AHEAD.

Nhc report shows TS Phillipe way north of us, no direct impact at all. Looks like it's swinging upward away from the northernmost carribean islands too

dux,

Yeh i just checked it..moving South West at about 4 knots but extremely unlikely and anomalous for it to reach T&T or even close. That movement is pretty normal for systems this side of the world.

Have a look at this and scroll to where T&T is.

https://www.geospatialworld.net/blogs/w ... ctive-map/

Now as you noticed and we can also see, we are getting some south westerly movement which is normal, again its 4 knots….thas nothing. But check all that wind from the south which will be pushing Philippe North West. That is the same wind direction/Coriolis force that keeps saving our ass everytime.

No need to panic everyone.

We could get feeder bands if it starts to develop but the center of the system is pretty far north of T&T

CNN — More than a hundred dolphins have been found dead in the Brazilian Amazon amid an historic drought and record-high water temperatures that in places have exceeded 102 degrees Fahrenheit.

They can't donate all that dolphin meat to a few small villages in Brazil at least. Can't make it go to waste.
