We reach long time. Hence the need to qualify for the WC next year whereas Bangladesh automatically qualified.
T20 by it short nature allows for a greater chance of an upset by weaker teams against stronger teams thus the WI better performances there than ODIs and Tests. And we still not unbeatable there.

SLS should have some additional firepower (on paper) with the accession of Polly and Simmons. Ah wonder how Sammy feeling with fatman replacing him as captain? After all, it's not like Pollard's form has been great of late.

In other news the Newsday is reporting that Shah Rukh Khan will be attending TKR matches this week — tickets selling-out for sure...

Saw Pollard in west mall last week Friday. He was pretty slim compared to last year. Seems he dropped weight and added lean muscle.

Typical TKR style, sloppy start and almost get knock out only to come back in the finals

From last night's commentary on Cricinfo:

11:35 p.m. This is only the third time in CPL history that a side has lost by over a 100 runs. St Lucia Stars haven't won a game since the 2016 edition, their barren patch now stretching to 12 matches. They were very poor in the field, dropping as many as five catches, and then completely insipid with the bat. The spark, the inspiration - everything was missing. They'll need something special to bounce back from this.
