This last test between England and India just didn't show the levels of grit from both teams.
Granted Kohli displayed his class and passion for winning, but some of things India has shown over the last few years in terms of their ability to concentrate and provide robust resistance just seemed lacking.
Maybe in India's case this loss would serve to provide the kind of motivation to come back to playing hard and grinding the opposition to the ground.
