That's like trying to bury something but you keep filling the hole with water. The effect is that the object to be buried keeps floating to the top.

BUMP!!!

So if allah is not here, there and everywhere...how does he/she/it exist?...surpassing the laws of physics or physics is something the kufar invented?

So basically muslims believe in a god that, doesn't "exist"?

Christianity holds more validity, at least their god floats around the sky all day.

Allah (subhaanahu wa ta'aalaa) IS NOT IN NEED!! FULL STOP.

He is not in need of us,
not in need of our worship,
not in need of our obedience to HIM,
not in need of a wife or a son,
not in need of the Universe FOR HIM TO EXIST,
NOT IN NEED OF HIS ENTIRE CREATION FOR HIS EXISTENCE!!
NOT IN NEED OF LOWERING HIMSELF TO OUR LEVEL,
NOT IN NEED OF RAISING US TO HIS LEVEL,
NOT IN NEED OF US TO SLAUGHTER HIM IN ORDER FOR US TO BE SAVED!

It is man's deficiency in understanding and pride that some of mankind cannot imagine that anything is possible for ALLAH, for HE is able to do ALL THINGS!!

A man ask a question of "WHERE IS GOD?", no other religion provided an answer except the religion of Islam!! So what is all the hooo haaa about?

Maybe MajTom can tell us what existed before the BIG BANG. Pioneer seems to think that it is not possible for anything to exist before the existence of the Universe. So what CAUSED the BIG BANG in the first place?

If the Universe is expanding, WHERE IS IT EXPANDING TO? Duane?

^^ they are still investigating, and still gathering and analyzing information. there are a few theories tossed around, but still under deliberation.

quite an interesting time to be around.

So the simple answer to "where" is your god is that he is nowhere really?

One more time, muslims believe in an ALMIGHTY GOD who DOES NOT NEED A MAKAAN, (CREATED) PLACE IN WHICH TO BE LOCATED.
THAT'S WHAT WE BELIEVE, DEAL WITH IT!!

So a god that has no existence relative to place and time, where exactly do muslims go when they "return to god" i.e. when they die/day of judgement or whatever. Do muslims only go back to god after day of judgement when god destroys the earth and all existence? So what have they been doing from time of death till then, chilling in a grave?

Anyhow...

sMASH"]in islam, we are taught that god is separate from from his creation. the world that we know, physical, tangible, the universe as we conceive it, is below the 7 heavens or firmaments. each being successively and significantly larger than the other, like a stone being compared to a desert. after the 7th heaven is supposed to be the foot stool of god, then after that is the throne, and then god is above the throne. the throne to the footstool to the 7th heaven are also proportioned the same way.

other religions may teach different things

It is amazing how much Islam mirrors Christianity.

and what do u suggest is a credible source?

The credible (trustworthy) source is ALMIGHTY GOD and what HE has sent down as REVELATION to Mankind, the HOLY QUR'AAN.

Check it out for yourself. Anyone can download a copy of the English translation of the Quran from the internet.

But adam islam has a fundamental flaw because the koran claims mohammed ascended to the (how many?) heavens...clearly the word ascend according to a child's dictionary means to go up...rise to a higher point.

So according to what I was told, he left the cave he was in (on planet earth) and ascended to the heavens...so it tells me he went up...into the sky...where he met god...

I thought muslims say god or heaven isn't in the sky?

Or was there some hypothetical theory behind this which wasn't translated for us human plebs to understand?

All Created things has a purpose, a purpose not without wisdom.

It depends on the definition of SKY.

There was a night journey from Mecca to Jerusalem and then he ascended to the heavens. He accurately described Jerusalem to the people. Allah knows best if it was a physical or spiritual journey or both.
