You know... somewhere on page 1, I wished that this comment would relegate this thread to the dustbin of tuner.... it did not

what makes one source credible and another not credible?
faith alone?

So basically muslims believe in a god that, doesn't "exist"?
Christianity holds more validity, at least their god floats around the sky all day. Can you provide evidence of this?
AdamB wrote:Maybe MajTom can tell us what existed before the BIG BANG thats exactly like asking where god was before he was here?. Pioneer seems to think that it is not possible for anything to exist before the existence of the Universethats like thinking what existed before god. So what CAUSED the BIG BANG in the first place?thats like asking what caused god?
If the Universe is expanding, WHERE IS IT EXPANDING TO? Duane?thats like asking how far is God's reach?

One more time, muslims believe in an ALMIGHTY GOD who DOES NOT NEED A MAKAAN, (CREATED) PLACE IN WHICH TO BE LOCATED.
THAT'S WHAT WE BELIEVE, DEAL WITH IT!!
adam etc could you all respond to the lil vid i posted?...post in YOUR own words please...copypasta won't really help
I was always told allah (god) causes natural disasters like hurricanes and earthquakes...an imam told me an earthquake happens because allah holds the world and shakes it...he also said thunder and lightnin is the wrath of god...tellin his people he is not happy with them...
Soooo...if god causes all those things...why doesn't he stop it?...why he didn't stop so many muslims being slaughtered in bosnia, iraq, afghanistan etc etc?
pls respond
sMASH"]in islam, we are taught that god is separate from from his creation. the world that we know, physical, tangible, the universe as we conceive it, is below the 7 heavens or firmaments. each being successively and significantly larger than the other, like a stone being compared to a desert. after the 7th heaven is supposed to be the foot stool of god, then after that is the throne, and then god is above the throne. the throne to the footstool to the 7th heaven are also proportioned the same way.
other religions may teach different things

It is amazing how much Islam mirrors Christianity.

and what do u suggest is a credible source?
Duane 3NE 2NR wrote:Why does God have use of a throne and a footstool?
pioneer wrote:But adam islam has a fundamental flaw because the koran claims mohammed ascended to the (how many?) heavens...clearly the word ascend according to a child's dictionary means to go up...rise to a higher point.
So according to what I was told, he left the cave he was in (on planet earth) and ascended to the heavens...so it tells me he went up...into the sky...where he met god...
I thought muslims say god or heaven isn't in the sky?
Or was there some hypothetical theory behind this which wasn't translated for us human plebs to understand?
brb contradictions
