Every ten years or so they offer VSEP, send home thousands but then still end up overstaffed anyhows after time and repeat the whole VSEP process costing the taxpayers billions and billions in severance payments over the past 30 years or so.

Wasa is a paradox.
Privatise a critical public utility like water and this country will burn.
To keep it running as a public utility and increase efficiency means massive investment in modern plant/network/delivery infrastructure, technology, systems, processes and people.
To leave it as is, gonna cost more and more the longer they take to act.

Too late was a milestone passed several administrations ago.

The question is, is it the farmers lands?

Those farmers probably made millions over 50 yrs on state lands .

Then Again PNM big wigs mine state lands and also make millions.

The difference is a staggering 2.3 BILLION US dollars or approximately 15.7 BILLION TT dollars pilfered and milked from the Nation's coffers over the past 8 years (the first withdrawal was in June 2016). Our Nation is now on the brink of economic collapse because of this blatant thievery,

Very interesting analysis. What is the value as at 2014 vs 2024? It would seem that all the withdrawals would have left the fund with 200m USD more than it had in 2014. The question is what was the funds used for and what is the criteria for withdrawals, since it makes no sense to save for a rainy day but not use it when the rainy day comes.
The PNM has taken over 2.6 BILLION US dollars out of the fund and has only made two deposits, both in 2022, totalling just over 346,000 USD.

Assuming the figures are correct, the balance as at 2024 is 200m USD more than at 2014. Does it mean that kamla had the economy on the brink of collapse since then? The 2.6 b USD in withdrawals must be explained and the value for money be examined. Nice job to copy and paste though. I really thought it was above your intellectual ability.

That was 2015, this is 2024.
Yes PNM from 2015 to 2024

Unc not in office and funds abused
The HSF has reached 6.0 billion USD. According to zoom radar table, only the PNM government has maintained and exceeded the fund over 6b.

Real quiet though but he will flam it in the election budget for sure.
