I didn’t feel anything but I heard a loud noise at 2:57:34am and another a little after 5am

I wonder how regularly we do methane and other gas measurements in our swamps. Passing by bird sanctuary this morning it was real kicking up, could be related? Who knows

"All right, Beatrice, there was no alien. The flash of light you saw in the sky was not a UFO. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus."

There were reports of a loud explosion by almost everyone. Captured on video.
https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=971424127968112

The explanation for the explosion sound is that it was a shallow epicenter.

WHY DID THE EARTHQUAKE SOUND LIKE AN EXPLOSION OR THUNDER?
https://www.wfmynews2.com/article/news/earthquake-sound-explained/83-8d8da183-ece5-430e-9d8f-25cd25d2431f
The shallower the epicenter the more energy that can reach the surface. It’s harder for the energy to move through the Earth’s crust as shaking than it is to move through the air as noise. Because of this, in general, more people can hear an earthquake than can feel one since the noise travels farther from the epicenter than the shaking.

ngl, that was some trippyass shht
I'm used to hearing the low frequency rumble. This was so different....from chase village it sounded like strong winds. The last strong tremor to rock the country had my house swaying but that was it. This lil bugger had the galvanize roof rattling. I was so sure it was freak wind, I checked the cameras, only to see everything dead calm

Imagine how that would have felt from inside the swamp.

Felt in Arima. My quake alarm went off briefly but a glass jar on my shelf was making the most noise.
