Allyuh raise the debate up a notch nah? Economic growth and diversification, foreign direct investment, national health, education, cultural and social policy development. National security structures and transparent government practices.
Like how our dollar is currently overvalued?
Trini dollar is the most stable dollar in the region. Had it not had measures put in place since NAR days to stop the abuse under PNM this country would have been a financial mess . Even both the UNC and PP and to rescue this nation from further abuse under PNM with grand wasteful spending that brought us nothing.
Remember the summits that the pnm had and run bust. A useless second airport terminal that used to be the airport.
3 oil booms under PNM and they buss all.

The stability of the TT dollar had not thing to do with NAR or UNC, it was pegged to the US until 1993 Manning floated the dollar. "The (managed) flotation of the TT dollar over that Easter weekend in 1993 was, in my estimation, one of the best planned and executed policy interventions undertaken since Independence. You'll need to separate the individual affiliates, not sure if they will be collaborating again
