This is interesting, guessing is the android wear platform they based the os on? Although reading emails/texts might be kinda hard on that slim display.

This year I'll invest in a smart watch, once the new models come out, i hope battery life is greatly improved, main reason i never bothered with them.

at CES i saw first hand the huawei watches
it was the most impressive IMO in terms of design and display

also checked out the tag heuer connected smart watch
http://www.wareable.com/android-wear/ta ... eview-2015

it was a little too big for me, but cool design and faces.
the TAG looks good but it's too big for my hand

the huawei watches on the other hand look awesome!!!
I had posted them in this thread back in September
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=347289&p=8857082&hilit=huawei#p8857082

The tag is nice & all but $1500us and a rubber band.... :| they should've included both the rubber & a nice metal option for that price.

I found its best just to charge it bit by bit put it on charge while your relaxing, bathing, getting dressed and then an hour before bed and it's good to go. I wear mine while I sleep to use a sleep monitoring app.

would be hard to power it without having an unusually thick band to fit the battery and processors etc.

Again you are in a watch thread that discuss expensive watches that only tell time and perhaps may offer moon phases and the date for thousands of US$ but you are crying down a US$400 smart watch with tons of features as too expensive.

And it's not about Apple. I think the Moto 360 Gen2 is awesome too, but I use an iPhone and the Apple Watch integrates better with my phone than the Moto 360 does.

Which Fitbit do you have?

please dont compare apple watch to the likes of omega, breitling, rolex etc. not even seiko or citizen  apple watch is still geek territory :fadein:

You way miss the point.

Was reading on what the apple watch can do

- open bmw doors and check battery and fuel on i models
- open tesla
- viper smart start
- shazam
- navigation
- uber

And many more

I don't know if it has an app to open my gate (I hope it does)

My phone does all that already bro. When the day comes that taking my phone out of my pocket becomes too much of a task, I'll consider it

Smart watches aren't for everyone I guess. I've the Sony smartwatch 3 and it's pretty good for use while working.
It also has built-in GPS. I can leave my phone in the car, go jogging and track distance, pace etc

NICE! but that's not the Edition tho.

The Edition only comes in 18-karat gold cases.
That looks like the Sport in space grey aluminum.
Or maybe it's the Watch in black stainless steel.

Does it say "Sapphire Crystal" on the back?
