what about ppl like me who are already on iPhone plans with 2G data as part of the plan.

[wishful thinking]would they be upgrading us automatically to 4G data?[/wishful thinking]

good thing i only have a couple months left on my contract...

just got off the phone with them again, thought I'd share this info with you guys.

If you are postpaid and are on a family plan, you would not be able to access 4G data at all. Even if a rep somehow manages to add the plan onto your line you would only be able to access data at EDGE speeds.

I swear I got real lucky then. Called this morning, waited like 20 mins (speaker) and activated it on my corporate plan. (Did have edge added on to my corporate plan before, so dunno if that helped - on Android phone, was never on an Android plan). They just activated it over the phone for me and it worked. Cut off intermittently for a few mins after it was first activated then it worked and only cut off once for the day after that for about 2 mins.

See my posts on page 30 of this thread.

i think their service should be constant and i should not have to get "lucky" to get a service i have to pay for. they could keep that and them iphone5 specials they have people running all over Trinidad for.

i dont support poor inconsistent service.

Most companies here (and I say here because my experience elsewhere is limited) have this kind of problem - it's either a serious lack of training or seriously incompetent staff. Believe me I've had my fair share of bad experiences with them...

bmobile is simply lacking in consistency like you guys said and lack of well informed staff. Even though I'm not able to access 4G they still billed me the $200 for it plus an additional $50 because some genius added a $1GB bundle, on top of all that I have the regular edge again, switching to corporate tomorrow.

who ever using BBIS POST PAID ONLY on Android or Iphone etc try this to get your data back running.
Dial *3282# Choose a plan I went with the $20 one
Wait for sms to confirm purchase
Turn of Headset -- Remove sim card for 2-4 mins
Insert back sim and turn on cell your data should be working now

very sure, already paid, just couldn't wait till 5:30pm for the delivery dudes to drop it off at the dealer. They called me as soon as he got there though, only thing they didn't get the cutter, but no biggie, I'll cut my own darn sim.

And yeah it's from a bmobile dealer.

Wait, that means free Digicel Circle with the 4G......hmm

Anyway, anybody who working bmobile know what happening with the origimal Iphone Basic plans? Seems kinda unfair to those who paid ~4000 for the Iphone with that plan and now they stuck on 2G for roughly the same price monthly post paid price as the new Iphone plans.

One would think Bmobile would upgrade these folks for free while having them pay the same monthly rate as before.

^^ thanks, but even if u buy a iphone 5 from bmobile, they would still OWE u a nanosim either way, because they arent providing you with a sim which is suppose 2 be included when u purchase a handheld device.

if you are an existing customer, it's basically a handset purchase, so they don't owe a sim

They gonna hit u the "you on a contract" line. Most likely the only way to switch is to end ur contract early and pay termination fees or wait till ur contract ends...
