perhaps - but they are functional though, the added complications are cool and the notifications and reminders are very useful.tr1ad wrote:Fanboy ting eh

really can't go back to a regular watch for anything now other than well... style.

Malaysia is not a notable quality watch producer. It's just a normal watch nothing spectacular about it.

It's a Japanese made watch sold in Malaysia. Do your homework son.

in the car while driving, while walking/jogging - a quick glance at your wrist is a lot less distracting than getting out your phone. It works around the house too, so my phone could be in my room or on my desk but I have access to many features including SIRI, making calls, sending messages and getting notifications on my watch without having to get up and get my phone.tr1ad wrote:Duane 3NE 2NR wrote:perhaps - but they are functional though, the added complications are cool and the notifications and reminders are very useful.tr1ad wrote:Fanboy ting eh

can't really see the functionality, when you can easily take out the phone to check the notifications...just my thoughts

Agreed. Smart watches aren't functional enough to justify the premium.....yet.
agreed, this took some getting used to as it needs to charge every night - tho it only takes a couple hrs to charge 100%ismithx wrote:my biggest problem would be battery life. two of my 3 watches are solar, and I just cant see having to constantly charge my watch
alerts are highly customisable - my watch hardly beeps, only for the very important stuff. There is a do not disturb mode where only alerts from specific contacts come through to the watch, wife, moms, boss etc.j.o.e wrote:Can't get into the smart watch thing. Don't want to be that weird guy glancing at his watch all time and fiddling with it. My phone goes off constantly with emails etc and in a social setting I've learnt to ignore it for long periods of time. With a smart watch would just be too much info coming to my wrist and turning off those alerts would make it just a regular watch.
Only like it for Apple Pay if that were applicable in trinidad
it's a lot more than that - it's not just a pedometer.INHUMAN wrote:Lol @ fitness tracker/steps counter
Again you are in a watch thread that discuss expensive watches that only tell time and perhaps may offer moon phases and the date for thousands of US$ but you are crying down a US$400 smart watch with tons of features as too expensive.S_2NR wrote:My fitbit does that and wouldnt be severely depreciated in two years or less. Apple watch is too much money. Tim Cook must love you Duane.
the TAG looks good but it's too big for my handthatlife wrote:doesnt fitbit have a few lawsuits against inaccurate readings?
at CES i saw first hand the huawei watches
it was the most impressive IMO in terms of design and display

it was a little too big for me, but cool design and faces.
