Results from this tour would only prove that India is only strong at home

The cash before country saga is affecting West Indies cricket once again, this time over the selection of the team for the crucial ICC World Cup Qualifier tournament in Zimbabwe next month.CEO of Cricket West Indies (CWI) Johnny Grave confirmed yesterday that “a number of players” have indicated that they would not be available for the series which qualifies the top two teams for next year's 50-over World Cup in England, but would instead be playing in the Pakistan Super League. That tournament starts on February 22 and runs to March 25. The ICC Qualifier goes from March 4-25.CWI has not yet announced the squad for that series but Grave told the Express that the players' decisions were “hugely disappointing.”

Them batsman need to man the fcuk up. Is only one setta even bounce, even paced pitches they want to make big hundreds on??

Amla didn't bad talk the pitch as much as the commentators and he actually have to bat on it twice.

"Two out of 100 [is my rating for the pitch]. It's a s**t pitch. You can interpret that. They should have called it off when Vijay got hit. This is not a cricket pitch, this is dangerous. Call it off, forget it. You can't play cricket on that. I have no idea what has gone wrong but I know it's not a good cricket pitch. The last time I saw something like this, the match was abandoned - in Jamaica 1998, and it didn't even last this long."
Michael Holding, the former West Indies fast bowler and television commentator present at the Wanderers Test

Some big stars will be missing from the Windies line-up when they play in the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifiers next month with Kieron Pollard, Sunil Narine, Darren Bravo and Andre Russell all expressing their unavailability for the March 4-25 tournament in Zimbabwe.

Hard to pick the selection criteria of them IPL teams yes!!!!
No Mclenahagn, Guptil, Amla (he scored 2 hundreds in last years IPL), Root, Morgan and even Lendl Simmons.
Lendl is a proven IPL performer - In 4 seasons of IPL he averages almost 40 at a strike rate of 127. 1 hundred and 11 50s from 29 matches.

And then there are players like Tymal Mills who cost US$1.6m last year and went unsold this year. One can only deduce they overpaid on him seriously last year.

Meanwhile Javon Searles was bought by KKR :? :?

Rajasthan Royals bought a player called Aryaman Birla for US$45,000.....his father is Kumar Birla - Chairman of the Birla Group!! Net worth of almost US$13b.

Could have bought a franchise for his son.

CPL news

That Calendar is a perfect representation of why WI cricket died. Basically all 12 months of the year one can play T20 leagues if one so desires.

Kohli - 160*

When he walked in to bat this morning within the first over the commentators were remarking on his stats and how good they were especially the career average and # of centuries (the South African commentator said he hoped he didn't add to the 33 centuries today :D :D ).
Not even Tendulkar seems an adequate comparison in ODIs when compared to Kohli.
