Some companies play the royal assss when it comes to lithium
Laparkan wanted me to pay 250 USD hazmat fees cause a cordless drill came with lithium batteries and carried a UN label on the he box

I suggest calling the shipping company before sending

Don't put it in carry on luggage as well

I brought an iPhone battery the other day from Amazon via Aeropost
Amazon put the lithium sticker on the box, normal charges

I know many persons who have brought radio control lithium batteries no problem.

Would also like to know how this performs. Need to get an SDS drill too. But $750 is "dogg cheap" for that...

Comes with 3 drill bits and 2 chipping bits and a tube of oil grease
Feels fairly sturdy

I bring many tools using lithium batteries through Aeropost with no issues.

It's allowed

Couldn't wait
Made easy work of that but I suspect the 1 inch chisel tool provided is not the best quality
Took about 20 mins to reach 20 inches
I will buy a better brand tmr

My dominant hand has a broken radius bone with plate and pins so it's a bit harder for me to hold the tool when it starts to impact the concrete

But I can't complain about the 750 spent

There are restrictions based on how the battery is packaged and the watt-hour rating. Many times, the shipper has to see it before a definitive answer can be given. The same applies when flying. There is also a limit to the number of devices that can be carried that have LiIon batteries.

In general, you can only carry uninstalled LiIon batteries in carry-on luggage.

I purchased m18 li ion batteries via normal procedure through amazon in two occasions without any irregularities. Purchased a hybrid power capacitor as well without problem. I think the marketing when shipping of what you’re buying is the prime reason for the issue. E.g when i bought the Milwaukee batteries they classified it as “tools”. When I bought the Rockford hybrid cap they classified it as “amplifier”

Nah, you not getting that locally. Mines reaching friday, i ordered one on amazon, about 12USD.
you could get the cheapo ones at L&G, i bought a set there and it works. but its extremely hard to use as its so soft But it does work.

allied and L&G sells the metal ones https://www.amazon.com/OEMTOOLS-25043-F ... B000CMFJPW like these

update on the total SDS plus drill
For the price of 7-750$ I honestly cannot complain
It does heat up while trying to remove a 3 x3 inch solid concrete channel and i believe if i push it past 45 mins continuous use it will probably burn out

I tried it on some regular hollow clay/ plastered walls, drilling about 16 1/2 inch holes straight through and it did that very easy

Also used it to remove some brick on a concrete floor and it made light work of that as well

Don’t push it then
Because if you feeling the motor hot outside it will be much hotter inside the windings where it will burn

Uncle make sure you cover that pipe with some red San and then pour concrete over it,plus it cuda well fix the connection at the elbows better, that pipe should be sch 40 eh better strength, plus it will not cave in once it is placed on a firm surface.
