oh yes, the left foot braking technique, used by Tiida professional racing drivers!
I hope you know i'm not referring to the track.

Unless you're a racing driver, don't try to pass off this bs technique to regular drivers as normal instructions for controlling the vehicle on the roads. Do it on the track. I see how newer computer controlled cars will just disable the throttle when the brake is pressed, but that's no excuse for poor driving instructions.

I was taught this way by a local driving school as well as one in Canada. So I am sure it is universal instruction.

Yep left foot braking on the street;
Feels odd at first but allows for less delay between thought and action, better control when driving up steep inclines and much more.

Yes I did practice emergency braking with my left foot to know how it feels; with and without abs

Drove ole cars for too long. Used to cut off if you came to a stop and weren't giving slight gas while the brake was engaged. Tried many times to drive like I was taught, and the muscle memory from ole car days too strong. Left foot braking all the way.

A defensive driving instructor told me every that class he would ask the question "which foot do you use for brakes?"
And he said it ALWAYS has at least 1 person who says use left foot for brake and right foot for gas. Imagine having a driver's licence with that knowledge nah.

actually there's nothing wrong with using your left foot for braking in a daily driven automatic car
A lot of racing drivers practice it, and Pentti Airikala had said in his opinion it's safer because with the left foot hovering, there's a split second quicker reaction time with using the left foot for braking in every day driving

Not everybody who left-brakes an auto keeps their foot on the brake pedal all the time, and nobody who uses both feet from the start will confuse feet in an emergency. In fact, there are more cases of 'one-foot' drivers getting confused slamming on the wrong pedal and causing an accident

Not everybody who left-brakes an auto keeps their foot on the brake pedal all the time, and nobody who uses both feet from the start will confuse feet in an emergency. In fact, there are more cases of 'one-foot' drivers getting confused slamming on the wrong pedal and causing an accident

what about those whose left food remain on the pedal applying a slight pressure and the brake lights are on constantly while driving. It's the same as a car without any brake light functional, you don't know when they're actually going to stop. Driving behind that situation is very frustrating. And if you pop your horn well you never know who want to rush out their car in a rage these days.

if you recognize the car in front of you has the brake lights on all the time, then the logical thing would be to leave some room in front of you and monitor the road ahead in anticipation of any conditions that may cause the car in front to slow down or brake suddenly
Honestly in 22 years of driving, I've never encountered that
The numbers of left-footers is in the minority anyway, and would be least of your concerns as a driver anyway
