I'm doing my NETD in civil engineering part time and I have a little over 2 years experience with two major contractors. I'm young and being unemployed is a big strain at the moment since it's only my mother and I. I don't know where to turn to...but I need to find something or as a matter of fact anything as soon as possible. I was considering joining the police force and use the income to pay for tuition. I don't even know when ttps will be recruiting again. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Just a little reflection on this post and gratitude to all those who have assisted in sharing info, the TTPS is not just a place to grab a salary. Alot to learn and the work and procedure is indeed interesting. Alot of avenues for promotions and many sections to work in. This career has become a part of me and Im working as hard as I can to uphold the professionalism and efficiency required by the Public for a better TTPS.

Person in tactical sections that are consummate cowards just collecting overtime.
Detectives that have no investigate skills, can't take a proper statement or interview a suspect.
Last experience I had with cid the majority of officers had no matters in court. How you could be a detective but not detecting any offences.
