A Boeing 737 operated by state airline Cubana crashed on takeoff from Jose Marti International Airport in Havana on Friday with 104 passengers and nine crew aboard, coming to rest in a farm field where firefighters sprayed the charred fuselage there was only three survivors who are in critical condition

I want to know how and why a national carrier leases a 39 year old plane from a company who entire fleet consists of three (well two now) planes.
