A section of a key overpass collapsed today in downtown Brasilia, reminding us all of the importance of regular inspection and preventative maintenance of infrastructure. This roadway is used by our staff with some frequency. Fortunately there appear to be no casualties in this incident thus far, based on reports.

i myself wonder about the integrity of the older overpasses by Central Market and even the one by Maritime...

Just today I was in traffic on the Maritime overpass. Thing shaking when trucks passing on the opposite lane. Had me wondering about the integrity of that structure...
