We remind you the ACT says ABC.
We are of the view that the song Can be in breach.
Please be guided by the LAW...

Are radio stations playing this song or not.
George sing say no
Newsday say it in heavy rotation.

Again, show me where TATT has EVER issued a release like this about ANY song. Sometimes the threat of action can serve as a deterrent, which I am glad to see Massive resisting so far. Appointed by the President you say, based on recommendations from whom?

Past inaction is a reason not to act?

Selective action is wrong. There are myriad songs which breach what TATT has laid out in their "advisory release" Let's see if the suddenly conscionable TATT acts when calypso season gets into full swing.
Smart money says no.

What UNC supporters?

I have not seen any UNC supporters or groups making a fuss.

It's The pnm women's league that is making the fuss

NERMAL 'MASSIVE' GOSEIN RESPONDS TO PANTRINBAGO

I am amazed by the sudden avalanche of persons who wish to ban and censor my song “Rowlee mudda count”. The latest call comes from Pan Trinbago President goes even further - he states that I owe Dr Rowley an apology because the song was in bad taste and “such derogatory comments against any of the country's leaders, or women, should not be allowed”.

The extent of the hypocrisy is incredible given Mr Diaz and Pan Trinbago’s silence in the face of worse songs that attacked, insulted and humiliated former PM Basdeo Panday and Kamla Persad-Bissessar. There was no objection when these songs were played at Panorama with the crowd gleefully singing lyrics that insulted the indian community and its leaders! Worse yet, there was no condemnation of Dr Rowley’s degrading comments about women that compared the. To golf courses in need of grooming and and “jammetry”.

Most of the calls for a ban of my song have come from persons who are dependent on state funding (George Singh, Vijay Ramlal and Keith Diaz) or who were appointed by the PNM government (Gilbert Peterson SC).

This is a dangerous and frightening development as it shows the reach of the tentacles of the government in its attempt to oppress and crush voices of dissent. It is a virtual conspiracy against the right to freedom of expression which strikes at the heart of democracy.

The recent press release from the PNM about UNC using social media to embarrass PNM ministers is really a prelude to a law Rowley and Faris al Rawi wants to bring to control, regulate and restrict the use of facebook and social media. The foundation for this was laid in the cyber crime bill.

The reference to the UNC’s use of social media is really a political smokescreen they wish to use as a cloak for the dagger that they intend to drive into the heart of the enshrined constitutional right to freedom of political expression so that they cannot be held to account.

The right to freedom of expression is under threat under the PNM. You can’t sing about them, you cant talk about them and now, ordinary citizens should not post anything about them on their personal social media accounts. They wish to use their “sheit kicker” boots to kick us into submission.

The hypocritical silence from the PNM in the face of the unprecedented relentless onslaught against Ministers in the former PP administration when their personal lives were put under the public microscope exposes their hidden agenda - they wish to control and restrict the constitutional right to freedom of expression. They wish to legislate us into submission and dictatorship.

Instead of trying to ban my song and issuing press releases criticizing citizen’s use of social media, the PNM should wake up to the reality that it is in government. The nation anxiously waits press releases on flooding, the 500 murders, unemployment and poor healthcare.

Ah the inherent bias in believing that Massive's persona makes him incapable of being so articulate. This from the same men who live in the religion thread too mind you.
