My older daughter went to Rochelle's in Palmiste. I think it was $2500/term with a $500.00 non refundable application fee.
Had a really good experience there for the first year ( Pre-K1)

We transferred her to Cedar Grove Private Primary, also in Palmiste for Pre-K2 as that's the primary school we wanted her to attend. They go from Pre-K to Grade 5.

At the time the fees were $3500/term for all grades. They've since been raised to $4200/term.

You also have to pay a $200 applicatipn fee and buy $4000 worth of shares in the school's Co-opetative Society. Both of these are a one time fee. The shares are once per family so any subsequent kids would be covered

My second daughter started there from Pre K1 and it has been a good experience for both overall.

There are those who would say private is an unecessary spend, but its up to you to decide.

Good luck with wherever you choose.

Thanks for the info!
I checked Rochelle's. Was interested in Cedar Grove but do you have to purchase the shares immediately upon registration? How is the curriculum? Do they have to be potty trained for preschool?

No to the shares, you only purchase those once accepted.

Yes to the potty training, your kid also has to do a little meet with the Pre K teachers and you have to wait outside. My younger daughter is shy with strangers and she was fine.

The curriculum is Ministry of Education for both ECCE and Primary. It is well delivered in my opinion.

Ok great. Thanks so much. What's the uniform? I know you have girls, but for boys?

The boys' uniform is khaki pants and a cream coloured shirt-jack with brown shoes...

PE for both boys and girls is a white polo and shorts the colour of their assigned house with white shoes.

Everything is sold at the school and Keith Khan's on Navet Road...

I've heard good things about reading rainbow as well.
