You need to check one of the local cargo company and they will advise on all requirement for your stuff.

They will advise which port to send your item and give you cost to ship from China to Trinidad.

When it reaches you pay all their charges get your documents and then clear the item yourself.

If item cost is more than I believe TT$6,000.00 you will need a Broker which the cargo company can help you out.

20k TTD is the limit for personal imports, after which a broker will need to do a customs entry form.

Depending on what it is, customs may demand a customs entry regardless of cost if they think it is commercial.

There are package forwarders that can do it for you just like any skybox. Unfortunately I know none of them by name, where you ordering from? I've sent stuff from AliExpress to my skybox in the past

Ask the supplier to quote the item CIF Trinidad. If it's small there are shippers bringing less than container load (LCL) from China to Trinidad no issues. Just make sure it's a reputable company and your money doesn't just disappear.
