Good luck dey buddy but the best place to start is to pull a certified copy at lo... itll cost $100 and u see who the last registered owner was. Ud get there adress and u find out what happned from there. Please update the thread and let us know as the story unfolds...

Might be quite a task, but if you could locate the person ur dad sold it to then you could trace it from there..
