Benjai suffers 'busshead' in Guyana (via Cnews) Police in Guyana are investigating an incident at a club in Georgetown which left Soca star Rodney 'Benjai' Le Blanc nursing injuries to his face.According to reports, it is alleged that an altercation occurred when an intoxicated person began waving a firearm after a performance at the Palm Court on Sunday evening.
Reports say a glass was thrown into the crowd, hitting Benjai in the face.
He was taken to hospital where he received 22 stitches.
The artist was scheduled to return to Trinidad on Monday morning.

According to reports, he was struck across the face with a bottle outside a nightclub.
Benjai whose real name is Rodney Leblanc had just completed a performance at palm court location and was speaking to a group of people.
According to his attorneys, Gideon Mac-Master and Keith Scotland, an altercation occurred when the driver of a car almost reversed into the group.
They say the driver threatened Benjai with his firearm.
One of the occupants of the vehicle reportedly hurled a bottle at Benjai which struck him in the head.
The matter is now being investigated by the Guyana police force.
His attorneys are threatening criminal and civil action against the perpetrators.
