If it's one thing Nintendo deserves props for is the fact that they never lost sight of making fun single screen multiplayer games, whether using split screen or otherwise.

I personally never had need for a console cuz i'm not that heavy of a gamer so steam fills most of my needs. But this looks like it will be awesome for when I have friends over.

But Nintendo isn't going for the core gamers they are going for casual gamers who game on Mobile because they think that is where the money is.

Nintendo has never been in competition with Sony or Microsoft. They do their own thing. They going after the local multiplayer along with some of their signature RPGs like Zelda.

With that said, I saw a vid of problems with the Switch. Software problems don't matter cuz those can be patched but the hardware looked a little cheap from the vid. Anyway, I still want it but I'll wait for all the bugs to be sorted out. Plus I don't get time to play that much anymore. Just started Skyrim and with how often I get to game I'll probably finish that game in 2021.

so why not use an actual ergonomic controller with ur tab/fone?
soft ware issues aside, there are numerous physical flaws with the design and the separate pieces arent really that good... as seen from many videos on youtube.

me, i would have used a normal controller design, but have the two handles either split the controller in half, or detach from the base of the controller. the controller could be the docking base for the tab/fone, and in the second scenario, it could remain attached to the fone/tab just to maintain a singular connection to the fone/tab.
