Ok I tried Paul A Grant last night n it was good
I had a t bone but next time I will have the ribeye
My choice
I asked him what thickness n he said what ever u like

His seasoning is not strong which is good, plus I ordered medium but next time is medium rare as you can see from the second pic
$280 for t bone

Pablo.. finally made it to Blooms. Honestly too many cuts to choose from.

Decided to try the 20oz Cowboy Ribeye and the Dry Aged Ribeye

Salt & pepper before the reverse sear:

Dry Aged

The dry aged was definitely more flavourful and the better buy of the two.

Was the the $200 from Blooms?

I got really sick 2 months ago, and since then steak just hasn't tasted as good. Not quite sure how to deal with it.

Does induction heat up as fast as a gas burner ?

You should invest in a good digital thermometer, those analog ones are a few seconds slow.
If you spending big money on meat might as well have a good thermometer

Thermoworks has a cheaper unit called thermopop which is almost as fast as the thermapens.

It was, sorry to hear that. The same happened to me with a lamb chop about 2 months ago also
I think I undercook cause it was so thin.
Time off helps until u ready to try again

I tried the side by side water boiling n meh, a couple seconds off but depending on the gas burner u got.
It brings oil up fast though n I don't have to worry about over heating / it maintains the 375 for frying
Comes up to 500 for searing
Want to try a pull chicken on a low temp for about 6 hrs

I got n laser thermometer I use for surface temp, works well

that waygu looks great!

I am looking for a good wire probe thermometer

I bought one from Amazon but the probe died after the second use. Seems to be a common problem with wired probes. Anyone have one that works? Need the brand and model.
