A clean install usually will get rid of those problems however, you might never learn or understand what caused it in the first place.
Hope you get through

X1000000. I always tell people that. Clean install is not a fix it's a workaround.

Cause some people still have their 970's higher... but should be lower.
It was 980's that were sold for $1500. People who actually price their used stuff reasonably are the exception. Most Trinis want to make back what they paid and some special ones want a profit on their used stuff smh.

Looking for a decent ATX case locally, preferably a corsair, cooler master or TT

I have the option of skybox but would like to avoid the shipping charges for such a bulky item

All tech Computers in sando have this for $550

http://www.corsair.com/en/carbide-serie ... aming-case

Supertech and Wizz should have Thermaltake and Coolermaster cases.

so a friend of mine gave me an external hard drive to fix - i gave it to her 5 yrs ago as a birthday present.
checked it the hard drive went bad but the enclosue is fully functional. plan on getting a SSD in it and giving it back.

this is the enclosure

key selling points its bus powered it works with a SATA laptop HDD any size and all aluminum body no tacy plastic.
comes in black blue or red with a nice satin finish.

price wise only 9 USD i foind it on amazon so i bought 2 - i plan on using one in the car on my car stereo to store my music on it and the other will find a use for it eventually.

Why the SSD over a flash drive... Like say a SanDisk ultra fit; unless you need much more than 128gigs

Its more of a solution. ive got a few laptop hard drives lying around i can reformat it and re purpose it as an external.

this external is the cheapest most cost effective way of doing that.
the unit is powered by the USB bus
it has a all aluminum chassis
solid construction
long lasting
and cheap.

where else you getting an enclosure that meets the above criteria for less than 9 USD .??? :!:

You mentioned SSD... My Problem with that Setup is that my car stereo was never able to power up a laptop HDD... Also not sure if the laptop HDD can operate in an environment with continuous vibration

Concerning the overwatch question...I played during the free beta test with a 15mbps/7.5mbps (down/up)... Played well but my graphics card wasn't ready and will never be ready for that game

quite correct my good man... i did mention SSD i plan on using a SSD in my car to overcome the limitations of the mechanical hard drive vibrations.

i did mention that the enclosure is draws power from the USB port. my car stereo has two. the enclosure requires 2 free usb ports to work -if my math is correct - and i format the drive fat 32...it should work.

(side note - i can use one actually and use my car charger to power up the drive properly - an experiment i'll have to try )

So worked on a client's PC with an i3 540; processor a bit dated.

So I did a bit of cleanup on the heatsink and the fan and also re-seated the heatsink using Arctic cooling MX-4. This service netted a reduction of 5 deg Celsius under average use...

On my personal rig... The heatsink is big enough that I am testing it without a fan attached... Temps are around 45 deg during everyday use
