WTK Dental Implants

Can anyone recommend where implants can be done professionally at a reasonable cost? I know they are expensive and got a price of $13,500. per tooth so far which I think may be average.

Before u rush to pay for the implant, did u have the tooth removed already?

I ask becos I went to a gentle Dentistry & Implant Centre last week for a toothache. They did an x-ray and confirmed I had a cavity but said they couldn't do a filling or root canal and that my only option was an implant or bridge. Went by another dentist (one that doesn't sell implants) this week and got the root canal done.

Just be aware that some ppl will try to convince u that u need to buy the stuff they sell, even if u don't absolutely need it.

I agree once had an impacted wisdom tooth went by a popular dental surgeon who insisted it had to be removed in four pieces and the surgery would cost 19k. Took meds grind d pain out... went to gasperillo dental and d dentist took x rays and did surgery for 2k and was bess. Also he did root canals for members of my family he has the latest tech and tools to do it in one visit. And its cheap by him 3646464

Ps. he also does implants.

Having gone through getting an implant myself ... I must endorse what these tuners have implied and say try to save the tooth/teeth first get a second opinion see what can be done ... that being said 13.5k aint that bad mine (a single) cost a bit more but every case is different.

Implant surgery aint no cake walk my advice to anyone is it is a last best resort (over dentures and bridges) the results look like real teeth people cant tell the difference but getting there aint no cake walk involves some in dentist speak "discomfort".

So if the masses cant see a tooth is missing I aint doing no implant.

Actually the space is not visible but it seems this should be done to prevent bone loss and adjacent teeth leaning and becoming distorted etc.

i haven't looked but have you looked at other countries nearby and the price there.

Bargain hunting for surgery sounds kinda iffy.

But by the time you factor in 3-4 plane tickets, accommodation, etc is it really cheaper? And then if any issues you have to go back there.

Actually broke a teeth some years back and had to have it pulled. Dentist politely asked me never to return. Man say he never met a tooth so hard to remove.

Located in Curepe. Guy is a dentist and orthodontist so he does everything. been going there for years now with no problem. Professional and reasonable and wouldn't male you get anything you don't need.

I appreciate all of your responses but what I want to know is the cost (an approximation or something). I have already called some clinics and they either beat around the bush to tell me or keep telling me to make an appointmwnt. I get that, but presently all I want is to know whether anybody know anyone who has dentures? How much did they pay? If they are willing to say. Thanks again guys

A family member very close to me had dentures.. it cost about 10-15kTT back in 2001 and were always loose with issues.

We paid for implants in the USA and it cost about 10,000 circa 2010 in the US (florida) for full top and bottom and they have been excellent and almost maintenance free. The odd time we needed a repair we just popped to miami to have it done. My relative much prefers the implant for comfort and confidence.. don't hesitate.. implants give you freedom you deserve.. i've seen her cry tears of happiness when she talks about her implants - after many years of insecurity and discomfort with dentures.. teeth or implants rather are one of the few "body parts" we can actually buy. spend if you can afford it.

check out the dentist (Dr. Nanan) in Aranguez Plaza - in the same floor with Dr. Harrinarine (eyes) and Skin TT (dermatology) .. photo of the plaza's medical practitioners attached.

The dentist Dr. Nanan is meant to be reasonable and their medical floor is really nice. She should be able to do it for you or refer you appropriately depending on what exactly you need

The range might be 3000-6500 depending on type, material and skill/experience of the practitioner. That is likely exclusive of any prep work that may have to be done.

Note that dental lab does not equal dental office. Ensure that you go to a licensed and registered practitioner. Practising Certificates are required to be on display.
